ADVENT
The church year begins with the season of Advent. Advent, which is Latin for “coming”, is the beginning season of anticipation before the incarnation of Christ, our Lord. The color for this season is blue. The season lasts for four Sundays leading up to Christmas. Jesus was born on Christmas Day which is symbol of hope for Christians around the world.
